Ret'd Lieutenant Colonel Shelton Defour National Disaster Coordinator (pictured below) to take charge in implementing new Climate Change and Disaster Risk Management program at Cornerstone Foundation.

Climate Change Adaption
- Organize and conduct climate change knowledge based awareness training.
- Coordinate information for climate smart projects.
- Sensitive and offer adaption measures for at risk families and businesses.
Disaster Risk Management
- Arrange and conduct specialized disaster risk management training such as community disaster preparedness for hurricane, flood, earthquake, tsunami, chemical incident (HAZMAT), damage assessment, shelter management, emergency operations center management.
- Emergency and disaster, multi-hazard plans and documented standard operating procedures.
- Design emergency logistics and communications systems.
- Plan and conduct simulation exercises.
- Support the management of Emergency Operations / Command Centers.
- Implement disaster risk reduction and climate change adaption projects.
